Convention 2009
Elections were held as per the Constitution, each delegate representing 25 members or having 25 electoral votes.

- International 1st vice – Emma Young 75 electoral votes
- International 2nd vice – Trevor Clarke 100 electoral votes
- International Treasurer – Joan Henry 100 electoral votes
- Executive secretary – Winsome Welcome 75 electoral votes
- International Organizer – Lloyd Robinson 100 electoral votes
- International Chaplain – Raymond Topping 100 electoral votes

Malaku E Bayen Exhibition and presentation was a spectacular success with up to 200 people in attendance over 2 days at the Lilly of the Valley hotel Shashemane and up to 500 over 3 days at the Imperial Hotel Addis Ababa.
Much thanks goes out to Ruben Kush from Addis Ababa who did an excellent job in arranging, promoting and coordinating the affair along with other members the event was sponsored by the International Organiser and Ralco Soya products from Shashemane. Look out for pictures and comments from visitors to this historic affair.
Meetings were kept with members including Local 14 around re structuring, registration also Brother Solomon Wolfe and BJ Moody regarding concerns from members in Ethiopia also the elders’ involvement with the JRDC.
The organisation is in negotiations with Local 15 (Twelve Tribes of Israel) concerning unification.
Meetings kept with the Director of Malaku E Bayen School by the President regarding the upgrade of the facility.
A decision was made to merge the block making equipment held by the organisation to start an enterprise that responds to future planned development.
A new program is to be launched entitled sponsor a youth in school or college or an elder look out for further details.
Elections were held with the maximum votes caste for any nominee being 100 electoral votes.
Members were in attendance to the Convention from Bronx, London, Bermuda, LA, Birmingham, Jamaica and others.
We wish to give special thanks to member Ras Julian of local 2 for delivering an excellent food supply throughout the convention period.
