In order to maintain the integrity and sovereignty of the organisation and for the avoidance of doubt, the Executive Council of the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated, finds it necessary to publish the following worldwide notice.

Over the past 25 years a small number of persons registered as members, and others outside of the organisation have sought to undermine the organisation and its assets. There have been many examples of fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, unauthorised activity etc.

This behaviour has affected the organisation severely in its attempt to carry out its aims and objects and work; also to maintain the morale of its members.

The legal entity registered in 1996 by the name Ethiopian World Federation Local Number One Incorporated has its own directorship and is in no way accountable, and should not be considered as the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated. Since its inception in 1996 it has been interfering with the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated work and activities. Let it be known that from henceforth any group setting themselves out as the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated will carry an identification number that legally attaches it to the 1937 Corporation.

Further a number of WEBSITES have appeared over the years setting themselves out as HQ, Council etc attempting to raise funds fraudulently from the public. Let it be known that from henceforth the official WEBSITE for the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated shall be www.theethiopianworldfederationinc.com all legitimate local websites will be identified on this site.

Further concerning the organisations assets of land holdings in Ethiopia namely Malcoda also known as Shashemane Land grant given to the organisation in 1955 after a request by its members. Also Kotebe land grant Addis Ababa; given to the organisation by the DERG. Let it be known that all groups and individuals carrying out administration, activity or representation on our land holdings shall immediately cease or face legal action.

Let it be known that the official Convention of the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated will take place in Ethiopia from 14th – 21st July 2009.
